Save Significantly on Your Workers’ Compensation Premium

Did you know that many alternative discounts are available to help reduce your annual Ohio workers’ compensation costs? Through the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce workers’ compensation program, your organization can significantly reduce your workers’ compensation costs through a variety of alternative rating programs. Our program, administered by Sedgwick, offers you quality service and stability through the complex workers’ compensation environment.

For over 50 years, Sedgwick has been helping employers navigate Ohio’s workers’ compensation system, providing services to help them control claim-related costs and reduce premiums. Our team includes the experienced colleagues from CompManagement and CareWorks Comp. The two companies merged and are now Sedgwick. Together, we serve nearly 65,000 Ohio employers including organizations of all sizes operating in various industries across the state. Group rating programs administered by Sedgwick have produced over $4 billion in savings since group rating was introduced in 1991, and their group retrospective programs have returned over $630 million in premium refunds since the program began in 2009.

If your organization is not yet participating in this member benefit, and you would like to receive a free, no-obligation analysis from Sedgwick, email our Program Manager, Rejeana Woolum-Napier at

For Sedgwick to provide LACC members with a quote, Sedgwick needs to file a BWC Temporary Authorization to Review Information form (AC-3). This Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) form allows us to evaluate your prospective members for placement in your group program.

Program promotion is a key contributor to a successful program.  To simplify the AC-3 form completion from LACC prospective members, Sedgwick has created an online form:

Self Insured Workers Compensation Plan: Teamworx

Teamworx is a PEO (Professional Employer Organization), we process payroll, taxes, workers’ comp, and unemployment, as well as providing labor advice and safety services to our clients.

How are companies able to save money?   By hiring Teamworx, companies are able to report payroll thru Teamworx’s Self-Insured policy, instead of going thru the State Fund. Teamworx actually can determine its’ own client’s rates, not the BWC (Bureau of Workers Comp).

Allow Teamworx to perform a FREE REVIEW.  We can help determine the financial impact of hiring a PEO.  Just agree to a review or send back the Temporary Authorization (AC-3).

Businesses that would benefit the most from working with Teamworx:

Larger State Fund Employers and growing companies

Employers that are already outsourcing payroll

Employers that have dealt with lawsuits or unemployment claims

Employers that have an increase in workers’ comp premiums

First Step:

Allow a FREE review (AC-3 Temporary Authorization).  Teamworx will run preliminary numbers and give the employer a good idea how much they will save annually.
