The Physicians’ Charitable Foundation of the Miami Valley


Mission Statement

The purpose of the Physicians’ Charitable Foundation of the Miami Valley is to foster programs and services which will improve the quality, accessibility and cost effectiveness of health care services with an emphasis on innovative approaches to health care problems thereby enabling organizations to improve and upgrade their delivery of health care. Also encouraged are efforts of public charitable purposes which broadly encompass health care needs and at risk populations.


The Physicians’ Charitable Foundation awards grants to organizations that serve the surrounding seven counties, including Montgomery, Miami, Greene, Darke, Clark, Preble and Warren counties.

To be eligible for a grant, your organization must:

·        Be recognized as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, according to the Internal Revenue Code

·        Benefit the citizens of the 7 county region listed above

·        Address health care needs or at-risk populations and causes


There are two grant cycles each year. Deadlines are March 2nd and September 1st. To qualify the grant proposal must be postmarked by the above date or hand delivered to the office on the date specified. No Exceptions!
