Revolution Group Fitness: A Place to Experiece a "Turn Around" that Leads to Fundamental Change
Written and submitted by Julie Meintel
Meet Ali Ault. She and her husband, Steve, are the owners of Lebanon’s newest fitness studio, Revolution Group Fitness. Ali is on a mission to help her clients see their true potential in all aspects of their lives, not just physical fitness. The idea for revolution is incorporated into the spiral logo, indicating a fundamental change, a turn-around. She says her studio is a place to work out, yes, but also “a place to grow, to love and be loved. We want to support and encourage our members and the community to be the best version of themselves. To be more today than they were yesterday and know they have a community to lean on for support.” She believes that fitness is just one piece of our total well-being, and she wants to help her clients start a personal revolution within themselves.
Ali’s experience in the Warren County Leadership Program in 2016, and the support she received from the Program and from the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce, drove her to bring her business and her philosophy to Lebanon. Her husband and business partner, Steve, was born and raised here and he introduced her to the community and the area, where she says she just fell in love with Lebanon’s warmth and spirit. During the course of the 9 month Leadership Program, Ali’s idea began to take hold and her vision became clear. She wanted to open a fitness studio that offered more than just working out; she wanted to pour her heart and soul into helping people grow and develop into their best selves. Ali credits her family with being her rock and her biggest cheerleaders. Steve supported her 100% from the very beginning, when she first shared her dream. As a personal trainer, fitness is an important part of his life as well. She and her daughter often visited the studio during the construction process and prayed.
Her strong beliefs that we are all on a journey and that we are better together are the cornerstone for her business. Well, that and having fun. When you walk into Revolution, it looks like the main focus is on spinning but there is so much more. Ali and Steve believe that fitness is about enjoying the process and the journey; working out should be work, yes, but it should be fun too. Ali’s classes are nothing if not challenging and fun!
Revolution Group Fitness offers a variety of workout classes to include SPINNING®, boot camp, Zumba®, REFIT®, yoga, and others, as well as one on one personal training. Classes are offered for early risers and evening exercisers, beginning at 5:30 am and are available to accommodate most any schedule. The studio has been open and offering classes for several weeks, and the Grand Opening event is scheduled for October 21st. They will preview many of their classes and raffle off prizes, and you can pick up studio information such as class schedules and how to become part of Revolution. In addition, a number of local businesses will be in attendance and you can find out more what they have to offer as well.
