UPDATE: Significant Progress on Four Features of Union Village

As the weather cools and leaves begin to fall in southwestern Ohio, Union Village continues to take shape. Project Manager Matt Obringer provided updates on four important aspects of the community.

“It’s really about having destinations to walk to within a short distance of where you live or work,” Obringer said. “You can imagine walking to the restaurant. Walking to a park. We have tree-lined streets and there’s something interesting around every corner. The architecture here is nothing else you’ll see in this region. So that all comes together and equates to a pleasant walking experience.”

Home Construction

Union Village homebuilders are putting finishing touches on nine homes in the first phase. Inside each home, installation of cabinetry, trim, tile and paint is underway. On the exterior, concrete steps, railing and front porch features are already complete on many homes. Union Village Realty has open house every weekend at The Washington by Brookstone Homes. This is a good opportunity to see the quality craftsmanship and amenities of the community. Call or text Union Village Realty at (513) 325-1082 for more information.

Sidewalks

Throughout the summer, sidewalks were poured in six parks located throughout the first phase of Union Village. As homes are finalized, Union Village developers will continue building the network of sidewalks that will connect homes to destinations throughout the community, including parks, shopping and dining.

The Center Building

The 17,000-square-foot Center Building is nearly complete. A covered patio provides space for dining and gathering and will receive a metal roof as one of the finishing touches. The inside will provide home for a restaurant, retail and offices.

Union Village Square

This park is complete with a lawn that provides ample space for families to spread out and a stage that awaits future performances. A fenced-in playground provides a safe diversion for young children. Comfortable benches here and throughout the community provide places to relax and enjoy the season.
