Lebanon's Blues Week is Coming: July 30-Aug. 4th

This year, our Lebanon Optimist Club is organizing a Blues preview leading up to the Lebanon Blues Festival on August 5th and 6th. We are hoping you will join our celebration.
The Optimist Club is working with musicians who will be “Busking the Broadway Blues” beginning Saturday July 30th thru Thursday August 4th culminating in the Lebanon Blues Festival Friday August 5th and Saturday August 6th. The Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad to bring a Blues Train to town on Saturday July 30th. Mr. Jeff’s Musical Gizmos will be playing at the train station before each train departs.
The Optimists will be promoting Blues Week through paid and free advertising on social media platforms. We have contacted Cincinnati and Dayton newpapers, radio stations, and other media outlets in an attempt to get our story out. We also have paid advertising on Spectrum Cable network beginning August 1. Our Lebanon Blues Festival banners will adorn downtown. Again this year, we will be live-streaming the event on our Youtube channel and facebook page. We hope you will join in the fun.
Below are a few ideas pique your imagination in ways you can participate. We would love to have you as a sponsor. Sponsorships start at $100 and can include a booth on Mechanic Street if you wish.

Ideas to get you started:
- Decorate your store windows with the color blue.
- Create a rack of featured items that are blue.
- Play blues music in your store or restaurant during the week.
- Celebrate the age of Blues (1920’s). Decorate in 20’s style.
- Restaurants offer a special Blues cocktail. It could be the color blue or a 1920s favorite (Gin Rickey, Old Fashioned, Side Car, Bee’s Knees, Mary Pickford, etc.)
