It's a New Year, and we have a New name, new logo, new location – same solid vital services with passionate staff ready to serve our community.
The same mission, vision, and services under a NEW NAME. SAFE on Main
You may be wondering, why a name change . . .
Although the ‘Abuse Rape Crisis Shelter’ certainly describes a vital service provided in our community, that name fails to adequately cover the scope of services delivered, including prevention education.
"SAFE" stands for Stopping Abuse For Everyone, and "Main" identifies the location of our headquarters at 420 East Main Street, Lebanon. There is a Main Street in every community, and we love that our name symbolizes the fact that all communities face the challenges associated with Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
‘SAFE on Main’ serves as a resource in Warren County that provides comprehensive services to Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Human Trafficking Survivors, while also providing prevention education regarding healthy relationships, character building, and sexual assault prevention in our schools.
After considerable research, discussion, and strategic planning, the Board of Trustees approved SAFE on Main as our new name! We believe the modern design of our logo & branding reflects our scope of services more clearly.
We’re excited to share this news with you! A New name, a new logo, and a new location – same solid vital services with passionate staff ready to serve our community.
Thank you for being a part of SAFE on Main and creating a safe community for all.
