Program Description

The purpose of the 1<-5 Alternative School is to provide programming that meets the educational, social emotional needs, and behavioral needs of at-risk students, who have experience academic and/or discipline issues in a typical student setting. The 1<-5 Alternative School provides a neutral setting in which students' difficulties can be assessed and solutions can be explored. The program promotes emotional regulation, restorative thinking, social emotional learning, and establishes boundaries providing a safe and productive work environment that allows the student to achieve academic success.

General Duties

Under the administrative direction of the Superintendent and/or Senior Executive Director of Student Programming, acts as the educational leader of the assigned building following board policies and procedures; and supervises assigned staff and pupil personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.      Directs, supervises, and evaluates assigned building personnel (e.g., schedules, promotes self-care   and wellness, assigns work, evaluates, interviews, disciplines, handles complaints).

2.      Serves as the building's instruction leader and directs and supervises pupil personnel and programs.

3.      Supervises the development of the master schedule and provides appropriate information concerning   same to ESC Central Office as requested. 

4.      Schedules periodic staff meetings and make every effort to provide staff with resources to perform   assigned tasks. 

5.      Prepares and submits the building’s budgetary requests and monitors expenditures of all funds. 

6.      Supervises the intake of assigned pupils and oversees the grading, assignment of pupils to rooms or   sections, the grading system which has been approved by the Governing Board and the careful and   accurate health, and other important records of pupils. 

7.      Services as a role model for educators and students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as   responsible, intelligent human beings. 

8.      Helps instill in students and staff the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values.

9.      Shall perform such other duties as the Governing Board may assign/determine.

10.  The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescrpibed controlled substance abuse in the       workplace through his/her employment in the County/District.

11.  Observes Risk Reduction Safety Rules and Regulations of the Warren County ESC and School Districts,   State, Federal OSHA laws and will be evaluated to the extent of compliance and implementation as an   employee of such rules and regulations for safety in the workplace while visiting such sites in line of   work duties.

Program Description

The purpose of the WCESC Learning Center is to meet the needs of students with disabilities that present with intensive mental health needs that require specialized and focused intervention and supports.  WCESC Learning Center provides educational programming that focuses on mental and psychiatric health, emotional regulation, positive behavior supports, mindfulness, and social emotional learning.  All this is done through a trauma informed lens.  Students at the WCESC Learning Center receive both individual and group-based therapy from licensed mental health therapists.  The program promotes emotional regulation, restorative thinking, social emotional learning, and establishes boundaries providing a safe and productive work environment that allows the student to achieve academic success.

We get 500+ leads on the investment side every month and obviously we can only buy 20-25 as many of them owe too much.  That leaves a TON of properties that need to be listed by an agent and we pass those on to our internal agents to go chase the listing and get the deal done!  Problem is...our current agents can't keep up, so we're losing leads and missing a ton of revenue and opportunity!
