Teen Talent Show June 11

The Warren County Arts Council and the Miami Valley Recreational Activities Council are seeking talented youth. Are you a Young Peson with Talent? Live in Warren County or surrounding counties? Do you Sing, Dance, Play an Instrument or have some other Entertaining Performance Skill? If so, you need to take your talent and perform at the Miami Valley Youth and Teen Amateur Talent Contest on June 11th at the North Park in Springboro at 6:30pm.

A covered stage, sound system, judges, audience, certificates, and tropies will be supplied. Three top winners will be selected to perform at the Regional Competition at the Fraze Pavillion in Kettering. Performers must provide a recorded accompaniment on a CD if needed and a completed application.

Participation is limited to 25 acts and applications will be accepted on first come, first serve basis so apply early.

Lebanon Home to County's Oldest Golf Course

We can bet many of the area golfers didn't know that. So for the many golf historical enthusiasts who pride themselves in playing authentic courses from the past be sure not to miss a great play.

LOCATION: Easy - downtown Lebanon at 314 South East Street. If you know where the Warren County justice buildings are, we are right around the corner. Sitting inconspicuous next to a park on a quiet street just like 100 years ago this beauty is easy to overlook. Harmon is a quiet peaceful round of golf that takes you back in time.

THE COURSE: built in 1912 -- you can just imagine the maturity of trees and surrounding area. Designed like all the courses of the day so every golfer of every skill level would have a fun time playing. Also typical in the day were 9 hole courses.

NINE (9) HOLES: the building of 9 hole golf courses were commonplace when Harmon was built. We are very grateful for it. With time once again valuable like it was in 1912 we offer a benefit for the golfer in time and money. For those who want to go around again and enjoy 18 holes, a second set of tees gives the course a different feel.

OPEN PLAY: we are enthused about our golf experience and would like nothing more than to share it with you. Call the shop at 513.934.3433 and we will find a way to welcome you to our course. Tony is the Course Director, and just like in days of long ago in Old Historic Lebanon we are very neighborly, so feel free to ask for him by name. His passion for classical golf is contagious. Tony and all his staff are eager to meet you.

Dr. Coleman and his staff recently celebrated the grand opening of their new hospital located at 1001 Columbus Avenue. Spring has sprung and now they'd like to invite all of you to their OFFICIAL OPEN HOUSE!!

Feelin’ Good!, a new cable show, was launched in April 2013. Packed with vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle information, Feelin’ Good! is designed just for you. New to the Channel 6 Lebanon cable lineup, the show is produced and presented by WCCS. The show will air Monday – Sunday, the 2^nd and 3^rd week of every month, at 8:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
