Tom Ferris Celebrates 15 Years in Business

Tom Ferris is a local IT hero to most of us in Lebanon. He's the guy who comes out and makes all of our computer troubles disappear. Tom opened the doors of Ferris Electronics 15 years ago on W Mulberry St next to Doc's Place. They later moved to Columbus Avenue and they currently do business out of the home office.

On Wednesday, May 16th we had the pleasure of celebrating Ferris Electronics 15 year business anniversary. Everyone had a nice story to share about how they know Tom and how he has "saved the day". Congratulations Tom and we wish you continued success.

Angel Street this weekend at Mechanic Street Playhouse

Performances of Angel Street will be this weekend at the Lebanon Theatre Company's Mechanic Street Playhouse, 10 S Mechanic Street.

"Angel Street" is a thriller set in Victorian England pre-1900s. It tells the story of one day in the life of the Manninghams and the bizarre events which are occurring in the house. The popular movie "Gaslight" was based upon Hamilton's stage play.

Set design is an important part of any theatrical production, but in our upcoming Angel Street, by Patrick Hamilton, the set will hold even greater meaning. This set was the final one designed by award-winning designer Bob Fritzsch who passed away in December. Since 1999, Bob had designed 24 different sets for LTC and won awards from the local chapter of the Association of Community Theatres for almost all of them. Bob's family has donated his set models to the company and on the second night of the show (May12), LTC and (young performers community theatre, in Mason, OH) will unveil a permanent display of these models followed by a reception for the family and audience members.

Lebanon Ford is asking you to "Keep the Ball Rolling". For every test drive completed, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the Lebanon High School Athletic Department. They need 300 drivers to earn the maximum $6000 donation. With your help they can reach their goal.
